Production Schedule: Dates and Times

Thursday 26th January:
08:55-09:45- Shooting 1st, 2nd and 3rd shot which are establishing shots of the local park, estates, railway bridge, ripped flag, iron gates, people in the park such as dog walkers etc (extreme wide shots).

Friday 27th January:
09:55-10:45- Filming 4th and 5th shots which are medium shots where we first see our two characters walking to the camera. we will film lots of coverage from  variety of angles.

Monday 30th January:
11:15-12:05- 6th shot of both characters walking side by side and the phone ringing.

Wednesday 1st February:
11:15-12:05- Film last shot of characters walking side by side the phone ringing.

Thursday 2nd February:
11:15-12:05- Film last shot of characters credit sequence and film lots of coverage footage.
14:15-15:05- Filming close-ups of already filmed wide shot footage (i.e., lighter).

Friday 3rd February:
09:55-10:45- Continue filming if footage is needed, if not, edit footage.

Script Summary

In relation to our script we described exactly what is going to happen, step by step. First the two males (Jessie Cardoza and Chuck Finley) are walking towards the camera, looking very formal, they then pass the camera and the camera follows them from behind. One of the character try to light a cigarette and fails,  he then throws the lighter on the floor and the other male screams and runs away. They then get a phone call telling them that there is a assault somewhere in the local area. One of the males say "Lets do this", then the titles fall...

To start off the process of getting our ideas down, we produced a script involving all camera shots, music,  establishing shots, dialogue etc.

We then deleted a lot of the dialogue to add to the suspense and comedy of it all.

Survey of our genres


After  choosing our genre, we decided to create a survey that allowed us to find out what type of genres appealed to different ages and genders.

This survey shows that the male sex preferred our genre, which is action comedy. It also appeals to males from 17-25 years old. We also found out that after they have watched an action comedy they feel "awesome" or "happy".

Our Storyboards

We did a rough storyboard, that allowed us to check each shot properly and write down any problems with each shot and what we needed to add, edit and delete. In this particular storyboard we hadn't added all the shots properly and our music wasn't inserted.

After solving all the problems and adding in the different shots, title sequence and the music we came up with another storyboard, explaining it better:
